Activists around the world are hosting actions at BlackRock offices this September, demanding action on coal, deforestation, Indigenous rights, tar sands, and arctic drilling.
BlackRock has been talking the talk on climate, but not walking the walk. According to new research, their coal policy is barely worth the paper it's printed on. They have no policy on deforestation and Indigenous rights, nor on the tar sands and Arctic drilling. They remain te world's #1 backer of fossil fuels.
So this month we're taking our demands to their offices around the world. Small, socially distant actions will be accompanied by collective online actions during the last two weeks of September.
On Friday Oct 2 we'll deliver the best action photos and messages from around the world to BlackRock's New York and London offices while we take action together online.
